Embroidered Patches

Embroidered patches are the perfect combination of affordability, durability and design potential with hundreds of thread colors to match your logo or drawing. Their unique texturing lets some designs visually “pop” off the patch with real depth. They’re also easily made, meaning they’re deadline-friendly.

Best for: sports and work uniforms, giveaways, high-contrast designs, short deadlines.

PVC Patches

PVC, The full name of it is Polyvinyl Chloride. Pvc patches are rugged, rubberized emblems that hold up well to grit, water, mud, paintballs and whatever else gets thrown at them. The unique material lets you have unique “sculpting” for a three-dimensional effect as well as a great tactile feel. They stand out durable and tough, even warm, rainy, and cold weather. PVC patches bear detailed design which means you can have the require design in minimum space. Perfect for forces identification. Best for: budget patches, giveaways, highly detailed logos / photo-realistic designs.

Woven patches

Woven Patches use thinner threads than embroidered patches. Woven patches are made of thread only, and stitched with continuous design to achieve finer detail in the design and text of the patch. Woven patches have a smooth surface with no raised texture due to the patch is woven. Woven Patches size can reach up to 7”. We recommend woven patches If you need to put much information and detail on the patches and want the patches to very light in weight. In addition, For patches with complex edges such as waves, we recommend simple laser cutting (die cutting) rather than marrow embroidering the edges.

Iron On Backing


Advantages:

﹒Fast operation, suitable for mass production.

Disadvantages:

﹒Need to use tools – ironing machine

Velcro Backing


Advantages:

﹒Paste and remove at any time

Disadvantages:

﹒Compared with the iron on and sew-on backing, Velcro patches are attached a bit loosely.

Self Adhesive / Tape Backing


Advantages:

﹒Easy to use on any Clothing.
﹒Ideal patch backing for a short period.

Disadvantages:

﹒Stay away when the patchwork is required to remain permanent.

Sew On Backing


Advantages:

﹒Flexible.
﹒ Lightweight.

Disadvantages:

﹒ Not have the same thickness or stiffness as patches with backings.

Types of border

Satin Border:

Satin borders are recommended on patches that are in complex shapes. This type of border is also called a hot cut or Satin Border.

Marrow Border:

Marrow Edging: A marrow border or “loop stitch” border is great for patches that have a more simple shape. This border also makes the patch feel thicker and more substantial.
